Every year IAC3 host's the Mark Fullerton Memorial 'Bear Creek Bash' named after one of the chapter's most loved members. Mark's dedication to aerobatics and the friendships he formed was second to none. His passing left a huge hole in the hearts of many and it's what spurs current members on to make this one of the best contest and chapters in the country. The contest is always well supported with a small army of volunteers keeping things running smoothly while the pilots enjoy and focus on their flying. We can't wait to have you join in the fun.
Airport: KRMG Rome, GA
Home of the Bear Creek Bash, the airport serves as a fantastic location with tremendous support from airport locals.
THE BOX
The aerobatic box at Rome is located on the East side of runway 01/19. Local traffic is advised to remain West of the runway during box hours.
PARKING
Please avoid parking on the main ramp in front of the FBO. There is a dedicated ramp on the southern side of the airport for Aerobatic aircraft both for arrival and competition days.
