Tara Field (4A7), Hampton, GA. ATL VOR 116 radial @ 16 mi.

When

Saturday, May 26 and Monday, May 28, 10:00 - 18:00 local practices at Tara Field.

Thursday, May 31 - Registration and Box Practice (all day)

Friday, June 1 - Early Registration, Briefing at 8:00, Competition begins at 9:00 a.m.

Saturday, June 2 - Briefing at 8:00, Competition continues at 9:00 a.m.  Banquet that evening

Sunday, June 3 - If required Rain Make-Up Day (after 12:00pm), Clean-up

How Much?

Primary: $60 (Minimum 2 flights, shooting for 3)

Sportsman: $80 (Minimum 2 flights, 3 scheduled)

Intermediate: $100

Advanced: $100

Unlimited: $100

Hangar Space

Room for about a dozen airplanes for overnight aircraft parking for a small nightly fee (we’re looking for more also)

Fuel

Price is currently $3.95 at the pump and we will try to get this price delivered by truck to planes on the ramp. Not sure what fuel price will do in the next two weeks!

Where do I stay?

The Saturday banquet is being held in McDonough this year, so we have hotels close to the restaurant (east of the field) as well as hotels south of the field where we have stayed before. McDonough is right off I-75.

Iris Inn in Griffin, GA

Call 770-233-4747 for reservations. Ask for International Aerobatics rate of $60.99 + tax per night – for either double or single rooms.  (Rate was set up by Tammy of Iris Inn).

Rental Cars

Enterprise Rent-A-Car will deliver cars to Tara Field and allow you leave them at the field when you are finished with the car. Make your reservation by calling the Enterprise office in Griffin, GA, at 770-233-2830, and give them the IAC discount code "32AIAC" to get a reduced rate.  (Note:  If you have trouble getting the special rate via phone, check out the Enterprise web site to see if it provides the negotiated rate.)

Parking

Pilots are welcome to load-unload aircraft, but cars are not to be left on the ramp. Parking will be advised on arrival.

Banquet

Banquet will be at Redz on the Square in McDonough  (http://www.redzrestaurant.com/) on Saturday 6/2/07 at 7:30 pm - tickets are $30 each.
