Thursday, June 1 - Registration and Box Practice (all day)

Friday, June 2 - Early Registration, Briefing at 8:00, Competition begins at 9:00 a.m.

Saturday, June 3 - Briefing at 8:00, Competition continues at 9:00 a.m.  Banquet that evening

Sunday, June 4 - If required Rain Make-Up Day (after 12:00pm), Clean-up

Primary: $60 (Minimum 2 flights, shooting for 3)

Sportsman: $80 (Minimum 2 flights, 3 scheduled)

Ten rooms have double beds ($56/night discounted vs. $67/night regular) and ten rooms have single queen-size beds ($45/night discounted vs. $55/night regular). These prices include taxes. Mention "IAC Chapter 3" to get the discounted rate.  The hotel provides a continental breakfast. On May 25 any remaining blocked rooms will be unblocked.

Several miles south on Highway 19/41 (also called Tara Boulevard) on the north side of Griffin there is a Comfort Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, and several other hotels. You can find links to those hotels at www.airnav.com, and enter "4A7" for Tara Field to access other hotels in the area.

Rental Cars

Enterprise Rent-A-Car will deliver cars to Tara Field and allow you leave them at the field when you are finished with the car. Make your reservation by calling the Enterprise office in Griffin, GA, at 770-233-2830, and give them the IAC discount code "32AIAC" to get a reduced rate.

Parking

Pilots are welcome to load-unload aircraft, but cars are not to be left on the ramp. Parking will be advised on arrival.

Banquet

Manhattan's Grill, Griffin, GA; Saturday evening, June 3.  We'll be in the upstairs room like we have been before - arrival time 7 pm; we'll order dinners about 7:30 pm. Cost for the banquet will be $25 each. For that the menu will include:

 

Appetizers - assorted fried appetizers, fruit tray, veggie tray

Freshly baked bread & butter

House salad

 

Entree choices:

1. Salmon with wild rice & veggies

2. Prime rib with baked potato & veggies

3. Lemon pepper chicken with wild rice & veggies

Dessert choices - NY cheesecake

French silk chocolate pie

 

In addition, there will be a cash bar where individuals may purchase alcoholic beverages if desired.
